Goa Gajah, Bali



Dates back to the 11th century, Goa Gajah (elephant cave) is believed to have been built as a monastery. Excavations have uncovered a bathing placewith six statues of nymphs holding waterspouts.

Need Vacation, Even in Dream

There is none shocking info about Indonesia these days. Live just flow slowly. Students have long holidays, christmas, new year coming.., yeah, for another people maybe these days are best days to relax, but not me. I'm working 7 days a week with no holiday. Shit. Becoming an entrepreneur ain't easy at all. One of my employee has to go home for christmas. He is christian. I'm and the rest of my employees are moslem, so we work as usual. With full team, our work is hard because my business in fact need more employees. Losing one worker make our daily task harder so i don't have much time to update this blog. Diary.. i need to relax.. What?... this post suppose to be on my another blog..., is it Indovisit? Oh man.., i need to sleep badly...

Nusa Dua, Bali

Bidadari island is one of Seribu archipelago, about 20-40 KM away from Jakarta, the island is accessible by motor boat with a capacity of 70 passengers, or a speed boat with the capacity of 6 passengers. Both trips won't take more than an hour.

Punks who shaved bald in Aceh triggered protests everywhere. Solidarity with fellow punks apparently quite high. Even the Indonesian embassy in Russia affected by vandalism act from punks because of the incident in Aceh.

Ngaben, Ceremony of Cremation in Bali


One of the most spectacular ceremonies in Bali is probably the cremation ceremony. In Balinese this ceremony is called Ngaben. Of course, like any ceremony in Bali, the cremation ceremony’s size and spectacle depends on the importance of the deceased, and the money spend. While the poorest of the Balinese are buried, and finally cremated in group cremations, the people with some more money to spend are cremated right away. One thing is for sure, the body needs to be burned to set the soul free from worldly ties, and to start a new life in a world that is supposed to be as beautiful as Bali itself. Ngaben or the Cremation Ceremony is the ritual performed to send the dead through the transition to his next life.

Floating Market Towards Extinction


Floating market is one of unique tourist object in Indonesia. Only two locations in Kalimantan (Borneo) you can see this traditional markets. At Kuin, Barito river, and Lok Baintan Village. These days, those markets still exist, but decreasing rapidly. Modernization have made these markets lost their customers.
