Koepelkerk, Netherland Church at Semarang, Central Java

Picture below is 100 years old postcard picturing Old Semarang city at 1910. The building on the rightside is Koepelkerk, dutch church build on 1753, then renovated at 1894. Till now, the church still exist and operated regularly as church. Local people call this church "gereja blenduk", which simply mean dome church.


If you visiting Semarang, Central Java Capital city, dont forget to visit this church. There are a lot more old dutch building at semarang. They also worth to visit.

ps: netherland, holland, dutch... i confuse of it.., sorry. Anyone can explain?
