Floating Market Towards Extinction

Floating market is one of unique tourist object in Indonesia. Only two locations in Kalimantan (Borneo) you can see this traditional markets. At Kuin, Barito river, and Lok Baintan Village. These days, those markets still exist, but decreasing rapidly. Modernization have made these markets lost their customers. Land market and boat that cuts through the market area are blamed for this situation. Without government assistance, these kind of markets will be extinc.
